Interferential therapy
Interferential Therapy (IFT) is a type of electrotherapy treatment that uses electric currents to stimulate tissue which provides pain relief, and reduction of swelling.
The IFT treatment is often used for treating chronic, post-traumatic, and post-surgical pain.
TRACTION
Traction is a manual or mechanical technique designed to reduce pressure on affected vertebral discs that are causing pain.
Traction is a manual ‘stretching’ of the spine that reduces pressure on the discs and therefore reduces the individual’s pain
It is commonly used to provide adequate pain relief to patients suffering from disc disease both in the cervical region and the lumbar region
ULTRASOUND:
Therapeutic ultrasound is a treatment modality commonly used in physical therapy. It is used to provide deep heating to soft tissues in the body. These tissues include muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments. Conditions like Tennis Elbow, Plantar Fascitis, Retrocalcaneal bursitis, and Arthritis are treated with ultrasound.


TENS:
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a method of pain relief involving the use of a mild electrical current.
TENS units may help treat the following symptoms:
- joint pain
- period pain (menorrhagia)
- labor pain
- postoperative pain
- neck and back pain
They may also alleviate pain that results from the following conditions:
- Tennis elbow
- Endometriosis
- Arthritis
- Sports injuries
- Multiple sclerosis

- Painful diabetic neuropathy

WAX THERAPY:
Wax therapy, which uses a bath of molten paraffin wax, is one of the most effective ways of applying heat to improve mobility by warming the connective tissues.
Pateints suffering from Periarthritis of shoulder ,osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and synovitis, Fibromyalgia and other joint mobility diseasesare treated by experienced physiotherapists under a standard protocol.
