Dr. LEO BERNARD entered his medical career in the year 1999 starting form the prestigious COIMBATORE MEDICAL COLLEGE, after completing his school education in CARMEL GARDEN SCHOOL, COIMBATORE. He obtained the DISTRICT THIRD RANK and SCHOOL SECOND in HIGHER SECONDARY EXAMINATIONS -1999.
During his under graduation in CMC, he obtained distinctions in Anatomy, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Ophthalmology and General Surgery.
He has won the first prize in MEDIQUEST-2003 and also won the runner up in THE TAMILNADU PEDIATRIC QUIZ in his final MBBS He was the chief editor of the college magazine during his final year. he did his post graduation M.S. ORTHOPEDICS from the famous BARODA MEDICAL COLLEGE in GUJARAT in 2006. He was awarded with TWO prestigious UNIVERSITY GOLD MEDALS in his final year from the famous MAHARAJA SAYAJI RAO UNIVERSITY.

After his post graduation he has undergone extensive training in JOINT REPLACEMENT AND ARTHROSCOPY in many Centers in India.
He also has presented a paper on – Clinical Outcome of Acl Avulsion Fractures Treated by Arthroscopic Staple Fixation in the TNOA CON 2011.
His research paper Displaced Anterior Cruciate Ligament Avulsion Fractures – Arthroscopic Staple Fixation was published in the Indian Journal of orthopedics/July 2011 / Vol. 45/ Issue 4.
He is dedicated to the welfare of the patients and their well being giving prime importance to early ambulation and easy return to normal healthy living and strives towards treating patients of all classes irrespective of their social status at affordable Cost.
Congenital Deformity Corrections
Many children with birth defects have been treated in our hospital both operatively and conservatively depending on the need and the type of the deformity. Also, many newborn babies with clubfoot have been successfully treated and are recovering very well hoping for a bright future.

We are also performing many Shoulder Arthroscopy surgeries for recurrent Shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injuries.
