What is TKR ?

You are required to stay for a minimum period of 4 days after surgery in which we do a controlled and planned post-operative physiotherapy and help you to regain the good range of motion immediately after surgery.
After surgery when you are in the hospital you will be made to walk immediately 24 hours after surgery.

What will be the postoperative protocol

What will be my level of activity after surgery
Depending on your age group the doctor will suggest you to avoid certain activities such as such as cross leg sitting and squatting after surgery and depending on the type of the prosthesis that is used on the surgery. Otherwise post-operative patients can climbing stairs, walk for unlimited distances, drive car, drive two wheelers, go for lightweight jogging and day to day regular activities.
